Finding a decent map of Gallipoli can be difficult. Finding a map that accurately shows the geography, the battle lines, the memorials, the cemeteries and where the ships were sunk is extremely difficult and that is why we created this map. We wanted to know where everything was and it took many visits to Gallipoli to find out. New Turkish memorials are proliferating but the basic shape of the battlefield and the historic aspects are constant.
